God, Shake Me Again

My faithful Father, enduring Friend

Oh Gracious God, once again you remind me of your grace. Once again you remind me that you're in charge. A thousand times I've failed, yet your mercy remained. A thousand times I've stumbled, yet your grace it lifts me high. Jehovah once again you've brought me back into the inner courts. In the midst of the storm you whisper that it's not about me, it's never about me, it's about You. I've held on for far too long. It's time I learn to let go. It's time to let You take control. It's time to wait and see. And so I surrender to you, not in defeat but in victory. Oh Lord, surprise me.
