The storms came.You weren't there.The fires raged.You weren't there.The people came against me.You weren't there.But after all this,came a whisper.Simple words,"Because I love you".Lord now I realize where were you.You were there during the trials,you were there during the struggles,you were watching,standing firm,allowing them to overcome me.You stood firm,allowed them to overpower me,simply because you love me.Just like when they were mocking your Son,when they were crucifying him,you stood firm,allowed them to happen,simply because you love me.You allowed them to take place,simply because you wanted me to grow into maturity and completion.Lord your ways are difficult to accept,but Lord I surrender all to you,simply becuase your ways and thoughts are higher than mine.Simply because you love me.Simply because circumstances fade away when I look at your face.Simply because you are God of my life.
