Edit the title to something you like ----------------------------------> Less of me,more of You

For The Moment
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
(Joshua1:9)

Jesus spoke of freedom, but he spoke of a different kind of freedom: the type of freedom that comes not through power but through submission. Not through control but through surrender. Not through possessions but through open hands.
God wants to emancipate; he wants to set them free. He wants his people to be not slaves but sons and daughters. He wants them governed not by law but by love.
We have been liberated from our own guilt and our own legalism. We have the freedom to pray and the freedom to love the God of our heart. And we have been forgiven by the only one who could condemn us.
We are truly free!

Psalm24:3-6
'Who may ascend the hill of the LORD?
Who may stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to an idol
or swear by what is false.
He will receive blessings from the LORD
and vindication from God his Savior.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face,
O God of Jacob.'

As I was reading this passage, the LORD spoke to me. He said,'Adriel, what do you want your generation to be remembered as?What kind of a legacy do you want your generation to leave?'

So I wrote down the following points and presented it to the LORD.
I want my generation to be remembered as:
1.A God-fearing generation
2.A God-seeking generation
3.A generation that has clean hands and pure hearts
4.A generation ready to surrender everything to advance the kingdom of God
5.A generation of faith that will move mountains
6.A generation blessed and loved by God

When I presented these to the LORD,he replied,'Adriel my son,you have forgotten the most important thing.I tell you the truth,if you want your generation to be like what you have listed,it must first learn how to love.'

And so the following points were added to my list:
7.A generation that loves God and His people
8.A generation where everybody loves everybody
9.A generation that embraces 'family'

And then the LORD spoke again,'Adriel,if you want your generation to leave a legacy,it must start from you.'

Friends, today many of us are guilty of pursuing what we think God loves.Faith, service, oikos and everything, but we have forgotten that what God really wants us to have is love.In the midst of pursuing what seems so right,we have lost our motivation of our actions. We have lost our way somwhere. But today, friends,God is calling us back to our focus.Since God is all about love, let us begin even to embrace love and let it be the reason why we are doing what we are doing.God wants us to pursue other things, yes, but ultimately if we do not have love, then we are not honouring God wih what we are doing.

'And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.' 1Cor13:13
